Hannah Fries is the author of A Forest Language (essays), Little Terrarium (poems), and Being with Trees (inspirational). She is also executive editor at Storey Publishing, where she has worked since 2014. Prior to her tenure at Storey, Hannah was on the editorial staff of Orion magazine. Her poetry and prose have appeared in such places as The Marginalian, Terrain.org, EcoTheo Review, American Poetry Review, Massachusetts Review, and Alaska Quarterly Review. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and she was awarded a scholarship from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. A graduate of Dartmouth College and the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers, she now lives in western Massachusetts.
