Micaela Edelson is an environmental and travel writer from Salem, Oregon. She first began her career in the environmental field, earning a Master’s in Environment and Development from the University of Leeds on a Fulbright Scholarship, then working at the UN Climate Change Secretariat and World Wildlife Fund before transitioning to pursue writing full-time. She will receive her MFA in Creative Writing and the Environment from Iowa State University in May 2026.
