Big Bang

Poem by Jeremy Frey : Reactive Drawings by Ten Artists

No. 28  :  Fall/Winter 2011

The big guy at the end of the bar used to work here.

The big guy at the end of the bar used to work here.

The red giant’s earring gleams a red herring.
His breath strong as a horse

tickles the nape of your neck,

your giggle useless, skin fills with each exhalation:

Quarks quicken your skin. No laughing, dark matter.
