Maria Raffaele-Vergori : Paintings and Drawings

  
Maria Raffaele-Vergori was born in Portland, Oregon, to Italian immigrants.  She was schooled in Florence, Italy, under Nerina Simi, daughter of the famous Italian painter Filadelfo Simi, in the macchiaoioli oil-on-canvas technique of Italian impressionism.  Today Ms. Raffaele-Vergori lives in Portland, and has painted hundreds of pieces, many of which are shown in galleries and public buildings across the nation.
